Yellow Sock, Blue Sock (with apologies to Dr. Seuss)

Yellow yarn

Blue yarn

Toe up

Top down

Slow sock

Fast sock!

The new Sockamania pattern is out, and it’s as fast as the previous one is slow.  I’m zipping along with size 2 needles and Brown Sheep Wildfoote–only one more pattern repeat and I’ll be ready to start the heel flap.

Oh – that is a pretty sock! I have not started yet – I worked on the Serpentine a lot on Saturday and have 4 repeats on one leg and then the other leg to finish. I need the needles 🙂 I really must get started though

  2. Cute post. I know what you mean about the newest pattern… I’m using sportweight and it’s going even faster than usual. : )

    He he he he…nice sox.
As a child I loved Dr. Suess – “Horton Hears a Who” anyone? OMG – did you see they are making a movie of Horton Hears a Who and Jim Carrey is the voice of Horton? I may barf.
But when I had to read Sam I Am and Hop on Pop an unending number of times, I started to feel my brains leaking out of my ears.
